I’m based in South East London. I studied Classical Saxophone with John Harle and Christian Forshaw at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 2015-2019. I received a First Class BMus(Hons) and the Concert Recital Diploma.

In 2023, whilst living in New York City, I studied with Erin Rogers, Head of Contemporary Performance and Manhattan School of Music.

My curiosity towards music has led me to continue to learn music from around the world. I play the Japanese Shakuhachi and study with James Schlefer . I play the Chinese Sheng, Scottish Small Pipes, Pipe Organ and Tin Whistle.

For the Art Night festival at the V & A Dundee, on a stage curated by Nabihah Iqbal, I performed a solo set for woodwind instruments and electronics.

As a culmination of my role as composer-in-residence for the Snaps Ensemble, I wrote a piece for actor, children’s chorus and ensemble based on Julia Donaldson’s book Tabby McTat. The piece premiered in April 2022 at Silk Street Music Hall and the score is available upon request.

You can listen to my electro-acoustic work made for Amanda Vesthardt’s exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial 2023 here.

I am an LSO Soundhub Associate Composer for 2023-2025 allowing me to continue exploring noisy noisy noisy woodwind music.

You can read all about what I’m listening to and what I’m learning about on my Substack. You can listen to my sound diary on my Soundcloud. You can watch a selection of my improvisations and compositions on Youtube.
